Last month it was confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions would not include a campaign mode, while the framerate has also been cut from the usual 60fps to 30fps.Ĭall of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 6. In addition to dropping the Season Pass, there are other major differences between the last-gen and current-gen of Black Ops 3 as well. has checked in with Activision for clarification on whether DLC for Black Ops 3 will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3, and is hoping to hear back soon. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Black Ops 3’s map packs won’t be available individually on Xbox 360, but it will be the first time in years that a Season Pass hasn’t been available for the last-gen version of Call of Duty.

The message appears on the Xbox Store listing for the Black Ops 3 Season Pass, which also confirms that “4 epic DLC map packs” will arrive in 2016, “including re-imagined fan-favourite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, plus thrilling Treyarch Zombies content”. but it is a great way to progress through the seasonal battle pass and work through the prestige system. I doubt it will but i'd like to be proven wrong since BO3 from waht I played is an excellent enjoyable game.Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Season Pass will not be available on Xbox 360, the Xbox Games Store has confirmed, suggesting future map packs and DLC may be limited to current-generation consoles and PC. Prestige Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass delivers 4 epic DLC map packs in 2016 with all-new multiplayer content, including re-imagined fan-favorite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, plus thrilling Treyarch Zombies content, all for one great price. That said, your money you do as you wish but I'll personally wait until I know if it's worth purchasing if there is a high enough population to justify the extra money to outlay for the season pass. The season pass costs around £34.99 on Steam, so it will be around the same for console versions. I could be wrong with that prediction but chances are I'm seeing it happening alot in many games and there's no reason that this game will differ because it's treyarch. Personally, I would hold off purchasing the season pass, I pre-ordered BO3 and was tempted to get the season pass but i know there is a a high probability there won't be enough players with the DLC maps to form a match. As you mentioned it segregates every community and 9/10 it's a waste of money not because there is anything wrong with the maps but because matchmaking can't find enough players with the maps to create a game. Finally, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass is up for pre-order at 49.99 and includes access to four exciting DLC packs, which will begin launching in 2016. Well that is definetely a fact it does seperate the community and a mistake I vowed never to make a game when I purchased the season pass for Titanfall and hardly ever got to play the season pass maps because hardly anyone had them. buying each one separately is normally £10/$15 more than buying the season pass. You could also wait until the first dlc is released and then decide to buy it. Like every other cod when a dlc is released it divides the community who only have the base game and this is when the game starts dying as you could sit in a lobby waiting for a game on the new maps for ages (this is what it was like for ghosts and advanced warfare).ĪW had some great new maps but ive only played each about 2-3 times each and normally its only team deathmatch that has players.
